Fichter & Co. LLC is seeking an experienced  Electrician / Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a well-established electrical contractor based in Bergen County, NJ, performing residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work throughout Northern New Jersey.

We are looking for a dependable electrician who can work independently, troubleshoot electrical systems, and complete projects in a professional and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, service work, and troubleshooting
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Install and troubleshoot branch circuits, lighting, receptacles, panels, service equipment, and electrical controls
• Lead small projects and work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and fellow employees

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
• Residential and commercial experience required
• Service troubleshooting experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Valid New Jersey driver's license required
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and professional appearance
