Food Production Quality Control

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our production team and help maintain our high standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of quality control experience in a food manufacturing or packing facility preferred.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and general food safety standards.

• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to log reports and collaborate with production teams.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, work in varying temperature environments (coolers/production areas), and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed.

• Flexibility: Must be open and available for overtime as dictated by production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Inspection & Testing: Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Line Monitoring: Inspect production lines, equipment, and environment continuously for sanitation, safety, and operational compliance.

• Documentation: Accurately record inspection results, temperature logs, weights, and batch records in real-time.

• Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify, hold, and report any raw materials or finished products that do not meet quality specifications.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SQF/USDA guidelines across the floor.

• Collaboration: Work closely with production leaders and operators to resolve quality issues quickly without compromising safety.
