As a Registered Dental Hygienist in our small dental office, you will provide essential oral care services, working closely with the dentist and clinic manager to ensure optimal patient health. Your role will involve patient assessments, preventive care, and maintaining high standards of infection control while utilizing digital dental software to manage patient records efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments to evaluate oral health
- Clean teeth and remove plaque using appropriate techniques
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records using digital dental software
- Assist in treatment planning and collaborate with the dental team
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in dental hygiene
- Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Registered Dental Hygienist License
