Dental Hygienist
Marinette, WI
A busy and patient-focused dental practice in Marinette, Wisconsin is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join the team. Position Details
- Full-Time
- Office Schedule (Flexibility Offered):
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM *Friday hours vary each week, some Fridays off.
- No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
- Perform prophys, gingival scaling, scaling, and root planing
- Conduct patient screenings, including oral health and neck examinations
- Review and update oral health histories
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist with emergency appointments as needed
- Collaborate closely with the dentist during treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required
- Active Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license
- Previous hygiene experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
- Assertiveness in the workplace
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
