Pediatric Primary Care Physician - Developmental and Behavioral

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Primary Care Physician - Developmental and Behavioral to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Responsibilities Provide evaluations, counseling, and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families with a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties including dyslexia, writing difficulties, math disorders, and other school‑related learning problems. Conduct relevant physical, developmental, and emotional‑behavioral evaluations of children/adolescents between the ages of newborn and 21 years of age. Conduct specialty assessments as needed (e.g., genetic dysmorphology, motor functioning, feeding/diet, and sleep). Meet with the leaders of the child and adolescent behavioral health team to discuss complex cases and assist in the development of specialized assessment and treatment programs. Work with schools, preschools, and other agencies involved with developmental care and education to advocate for patients. Provide standardized diagnostic assessments for autism and specialty assessments for ADHD and anxiety.
