Technical Support Engineer
Databento is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (L1/Frontline Support) to be the first point of contact for customer inquiries during APAC hours. This role focuses on resolving common issues related to API usage, onboarding, authentication, integration, and billing while escalating complex problems to senior support or engineering teams. Join our innovative market data platform that simplifies the developer experience in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customer support inquiries.
- Resolve common customer issues related to API usage and onboarding.
- Escalate complex issues while maintaining accurate ticket status and logs.
- Contribute improvements to documentation, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
- Write technical content such as tutorials and blog posts.
- Help manage and grow online developer communities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Databento's API preferred.
- At least 2 years in technical support, QA, or engineering.
- Working proficiency in Python.
- Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- Experience at an early-stage startup is a plus.
