Emerald is seeking an Account Executive to drive exhibit space, sponsorship, and year-round media sales for one of our leading live event brands. This is a full-cycle sales role focused on prospecting new business, growing existing accounts, and building long-term client partnerships. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder and closer who can align client goals with integrated event and media opportunities while delivering a high level of customer service and consistent revenue performance. This position is based out of our New York, NY Broadway office. Responsibilities Drive revenue through new business development, upselling, and account retention across exhibit space, sponsorships, digital media, and year-round marketing opportunities. Proactively prospect for new exhibitors, sponsors, and media partners while managing and growing assigned accounts. Develop customized proposals and negotiate contracts aligned with client goals and brand objectives. Accurately manage and forecast sales activity in Salesforce, maintaining detailed account and pipeline records. Achieve assigned revenue, retention, and activity goals. Build strong relationships with decision-makers to support long‑term partnerships and repeat participation. Stay informed on industry, media, and event trends, along with competitor activity and emerging exhibitor/sponsor categories. Attend industry events and competitive shows as needed for business development and relationship building. Qualifications B2B sales experience across events, media, sponsorship, or integrated marketing partnerships. Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and account retention. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM required. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Goal‑oriented with a high level of accountability and sense of urgency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
