What You'll Do

• Monitor residents' physical and mental well-being continuously, reporting changes promptly
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders accurately
• Administer medications and treatments per physician instructions and document electronically
• Supervise and assist Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) following licensing requirements
• Conduct resident rounds with physicians and facilitate clear communication
• Manage wound care, oxygen administration, and feeding procedures as needed
• Complete resident assessments, admissions, discharges, and transfers with proper documentation
• Communicate effectively with residents' families and resolve concerns
• Oversee infection control practices and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment
• Manage the assigned unit(s) during shifts, ensuring quality resident care
• Enforce compliance with federal and state regulations on medication storage and documentation
• Support nurse staff orientation and ongoing education efforts

What You Need

Required:

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in New Hampshire
• Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with staff

Preferred:

• Experience with wound care, oxygen therapy, and medication management
• Comfortable working in a rural setting with own transportation required due to location
