Commercial Real Estate Finance Counsel — Lender-Side
New York City | Hybrid | $240K–$299K + Bonus & Origination
A sophisticated New York law firm is expanding its commercial real estate finance practice and is looking for a senior attorney who can independently lead lender-side transactions.
The practice represents sophisticated lenders and capital providers in commercial mortgage and structured real estate financings. The attorney joining the team will step into an active pipeline of work while having the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the firm's New York real estate practice.
The Opportunity
You will independently manage commercial real estate financings from structuring through closing, working directly with clients and taking ownership of transactions.
The practice is looking for an attorney who is already comfortable running multiple lender-side matters simultaneously and wants greater ownership within a sophisticated, entrepreneurial platform.
What We're Looking For
• Significant recent lender-side commercial real estate finance experience
• Experience independently leading commercial mortgage transactions from structuring through closing
• Strong command of loan documentation, negotiation and closing mechanics
• Experience managing multiple sophisticated financing transactions concurrently
• New York real estate experience and strong familiarity with the NYC market
• Collaborative approach and interest in helping grow a practice
Portable business is not required , although attorneys with client relationships or an interest in business development will have meaningful origination upside.

Compensation
$240,000–$299,000 base, plus performance bonus and origination upside. Full benefits.
