Golf Services AttendantAchasta Golf Club, located in Dahlonega, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Golf Services Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.The Outside Services Attendant supports all outside golf operations, including:Golf cart fleet managementDriving range maintenancePutting and chipping green upkeepGeneral facility and grounds cleanlinessEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Greet all guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.One person at the bag drop at all times.Utilize golf cart to pick up members/guests- golfers or not.Communicate clearly to assist golfers during their visit.Assist golfers with loading and unloading golf bags.Maintain a clean and organized bag drop area.Report golfer complaints promptly to the Assistant Golf Professional.Golf Cart Management:Stage carts daily in excellent working condition.Return carts to the cart barn cleaned, stocked, and plugged in.Ensure each cart contains: One pencilOne scorecardTwo bottles of sandCooler flipped and cleanFill in tee slots- eight total per cartTwo towels in each cartInspect carts for damage or wear and report issues to the Pro Shop.Damage cart steps- Fill out damage cart report card and place it on the steering wheel- place a towel on the center of the windshield.Maintain a minimum of seven carts staged at all times.Assign two golfers per cart when possible.Follow all safety procedures when operating carts.Driving Range & Practice Areas:See Richie for diagram and set up.Keep range stocked throughout shift (pick during slow periods).Fill sand buckets on driving range and in cart barn.Wash range balls after picking and clean out ball washer.Keep chipping and putting greens neat (push balls off green).Move range equipment nightly (three–six feet).Sunday closers: Remove all range equipment from range and chipping green.Grounds & Facility Maintenance:Maintain cleanliness of: Player entranceStaging areaDriving rangeChipping and putting greensPro shop exteriorWalk pathsStart hutCart barnKeep work areas clean and organized (bag drop & cart barn).Take trash out nightly and ensure it is placed inside dumpster.Team & Operations:Coordinate with Pro Shop to maintain proper cart availability.Assist Assistant Golf Professional with tournaments and outings.Attend required employee meetings and orientation.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Grab a radio and tee sheet at the start of each shift.Qualifications:Prior golf experience preferred.Excellent communication and listening skills.Positive interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure.Self-motivated; able to take initiative without supervision.Ability to lift 25 lbs and bend frequently.Able to work outdoors in hot and cold weather.Valid driver's license required.Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.Daily Task Checklist:Opening Duties:Clock inGrab radio and tee sheetFill sand bottles on holes 1 & 11 (no empty bottles on course or in cans)Fill sand buckets (range and cart barn)Check carts while staging: Fully stockedTrash-freeGPS workingUpdate bag stand informationPick and restock rangeWash range balls and clean ball washerLeave station cleanClock outClosing Duties:Clock inWash, scrub, and stock all cartsEnsure carts are trash-free and plugged inPick and restock rangeFill sand bucketsWash range balls and clean ball washerMove range equipment back three–six feetSunday closers: Fully pick rangeRemove and store range standsCheck sand bottles on 1 & 11Take trash to dumpster (do not leave on top of cans)Leave station cleanClock outCleanliness is a top priority for the Outside Services Attendant.
