Our client is seeking a Lead Chiller Mechanic. This person will travel to industrial and commercial client locations such as hospitals, schools, and other industrial facilities. Pay range is $32-$48/hr. The work schedule is 7 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday–Friday. An on-call tech is assigned each week for weekend and after-hours calls. This is rotated, and they are paid a 9-hour on-call fee just for being on call, plus hours worked on call.
A company truck and gas card are provided. You will be dispatched from home, so you will take the truck and tools home every night. All tools and uniforms are provided. Also, cell phone, tablet, and laptop are provided.
Must have 10 years of experience working on high-tonnage equipment and certification from Trane, Carrier, or another major chiller manufacturer. Must have OSHA 30 card and steel-toe boots.
Most assignments are in Central Florida; however, per diem and expenses are paid for any overnight travel.
