• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging results
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on advancements and best practices in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable organization
• Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
