Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Location: Augusta, GA Address: 3651 Wheeler Rd Unit: PCU Building: Main Hospital General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 29 Patient Ratios : 1:4 ideally, currently running 1:5 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : UC and PCT Type of equipment : Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, vein finder. Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week Floating policy: All staff float to areas of their competencies Patient Experience requirements: Must provide safe, high quality and compassionate care Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : Advanced skills needed: ACLS, familiar with cardiac drip and insulin drips Procedures performed on unit: N/A Certifications Required: ACLS Dress Code : (Required uniform) Royal Blue Scrubs, no artificial/gel nails Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. Looking for candidate who works well with others. Staff self-schedule, work with candidates, especially if they like their night shifts 3 in a row.
