Assembly Worker

Job Description

The Assembler is responsible for performing bench assembly and machine operations to mass‑produce products and components. This position receives a competitive base wage plus an individual production incentive pay.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow bill of material and routing
• Place parts in specified relationship to each other
• Restock parts and add coolant as needed
• Tend to machines such as milling, grinding, and drilling to perform required operations on products
• Pack finished product in proper container
• Read and follow work instructions and safety analysis sheet
• Scan onto jobs via inventory collection device
• Record information on process and sustainment sheets
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Support and sustain ISO procedures, Lean Manufacturing, and 5‑S efforts
• Work on a line where tasks vary as different model of the same article moves along line
• Perform organizing and daily cleaning duties to ensure safe work area
• Other duties may be assigned in support of production needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work any shift
• Ability to multi‑task and work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment

• Lean and 5‑S experience
