Fine Gardening Technician

$25–$30/hour | Full-Time / Part-Time

Ponderosa Landscaping is hiring a Fine Gardening Technician to join our team. We’ve been serving the Lower and Outer Cape since 1979 and are known for quality work and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in plant care and enjoys working outdoors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain gardens, beds, and landscapes to a high standard
• Prune shrubs, perennials, and rose care
• Design and maintain container plantings
• Identify plant issues (pests, disease, fertilization needs)
• Operate landscaping equipment and tools
• Load/unload materials and assist with general labor
• Drive company vehicles (dump truck as needed)
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe

What You Need

• Experience in landscaping or fine gardening (required)
• Knowledge of plant care, pruning, and maintenance
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors daily
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly

Preferred (Not Required)

• Valid MA Driver’s License
• DOT Medical Card

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Overtime and weekends as needed
