Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Day and Night rotating shifts)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in the Medical Telemetry and Intermediate Care units. The position involves monitoring patients with complex medical needs and may require floating to other medical/surgical units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide care for patients with respiratory conditions, including the use of ventilators and CPAP.
• Interpret telemetry and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with ventilators and telemetry interpretation.
• Ability to float to different units as required based on patient care needs.
