Material Handler Mt. Vernon, OH Compensation Starting Pay Rate of $22.61/hour Shift Nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am 2,2,3 schedule Overview The primary job function of a material handler is to move, store, and manage materials efficiently and safely within the facility to support production, storage, and distribution operations. Responsibilities Responsible for the receipt of all finished products Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and/or pallet movers Support the materials handling process for production related materials Daily monitor all lines, anticipate, and supply each line withallmaterials (including raw materials, boxes, poly bags, pallets, etc.) that will be needed throughout the shift Interact with machine operators on a daily basis in order to be able to anticipate any needs that they may have Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable Unload, load trucks, or stage trucks as necessary, or directed by the supervisor Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Eligible to work in the United States Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen Work overtime as required Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
