Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
• CA NMTL

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
• Additional shift schedule noted as 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Weekday call required after 4:30 PM on a rotating basis.
• Weekend call required on a rotating basis.
• Holiday call rotates with other staff.
• Floating may be required to another facility approximately 6.5 miles away.
• Charting systems: Cerner, Radnet, and Merge Unity.
• Department equipment: GE.
• Common studies include cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying.
• Scrub color: Teal.
