Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various imaging studies and be prepared to work in a dynamic environment.

This position is located in a facility in City, State.

One scanner available. May require floating to another location approximately 6.5 miles away. Cardiac studies, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies. Average studies per day: 5-10 scans.

Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and ensure accurate and high-quality imaging. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols. Work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with radiologists.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine. Proficient in EMR and PACS systems, specifically Radnet and Merge Unity. Experience with GE equipment is preferred. BLS certification is required.

Shift details: 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Rotating call after 4:30 PM on weekdays. Rotating weekend call. On-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

Teal scrubs are required, and scrubs are provided. The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for shorter assignments, with the option to pay full hours for certain shifts in lieu of cancellation. Cerner charting system. Acute care setting.
