Mechanical Designer / Drafter

Ourideal candidate is a highly proficient CAD user with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects while seamlessly collaborating with various teams to produce precise and accurate engineering drawings.If you thrive on managing diverse projects and solving problems, this is the perfect opportunity to see your precise work directly impact our manufacturing and sales success.Mechanical Designer Duties and Responsibilities:Design new and modify legacy API valvesProduce 3D solid models, 2D layouts, and general assembly drawingsCreate Bill of Materials (BOM)Administer / Issue ECR/ECNsCollaborate with other department personnel, within and outside the engineering departmentConsider the implications of product costWork in a safe mannerMechanical Designer Skills and Experience:2 Year technical degree or other relevant trainingProficient in Solid Modeling – SolidWorks, ACAD Inventor, or Fusion 360Working knowledge of ASME Y14 drafting standardsWorking knowledge of API 6A and 6D.Familiar with ERP SystemsProficient with Microsoft OfficeFamiliar with hydrostatic testing2+ yearsexperience with industrial equipment, processes and/or valve related productsJoin Us.PrideStaff Company OverviewPrideStaff wants you to Succeed!
