Labeling Compliance Specialist Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000+ Chicago, IL Area | On-Site | Full-Time | Monday through Friday Are you a labeling compliance expert who knows FDA 21 CFR and USDA regulations like the back of your hand? What You Will Do Review and maintain product labels for FDA 21 CFR, USDA, and state compliance Manage allergen labeling, ingredient declarations, and required disclosures Communicate with domestic and international suppliers to resolve documentation issues Partner with QA, Marketing, and Procurement on label updates and claims compliance Develop and maintain SOPs for label review processes What We Are Looking For BS in Food Science or related field 3 to 5 years of FDA and USDA labeling experience FDA food labeling certification Strong attention to detail and communication skills Bonus: TraceGains or Genesis R&D experience, FSVP, PCQI, or HACCP certification The Perks Competitive compensation and full benefits package 401(k) with matching, health, dental, vision, PTO, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement Your choice of shift: 6am to 3pm or 7am to 4pm No weekends, no on-call!
