Job Description

Location: Rochester Hills Center for Reproductive Medicine (May be scheduled at the Troy location as needed)

Hours: 6AM-4:30PM-Rotating weekends (When the dept is fully staffed, the weekend rotation is about every 4-5 weeks). During the orientation period, which generally lasts approximately six months, the schedule is typically Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

 

The Henry Ford Center for Reproductive Medicine in Rochester Hills addresses all aspects of infertility from diagnostic evaluation to state-of-the-art treatment approaches, all at one location. We work with you and your partner to diagnose the causes of infertility, and consider all available options to help achieve a healthy and successful pregnancy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate and manage patient care activities in the ambulatory reproductive medicine setting, ensuring quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs
• Educate patients and families regarding infertility diagnosis, treatment options, and post-procedure care
• Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care delivery
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and demonstrate competence in reproductive medicine specialty practices
• Document patient care activities, clinical observations, and treatment responses accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Delegate and supervise nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes
• Collaborate with principal investigators on clinical research initiatives when appropriate
• Demonstrate professional nursing judgment and clinical competence in all patient interactions

Qualifications

REQUIRED

QUALIFICATIONS

:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Current BLS or ACLS certification in accordance with Henry Ford Health policy
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in fertility, women's health, or IVF clinic settings
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and strong analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Proficiency with computer systems and keyboarding skills
• Successful completion of the Henry Ford Ambulatory Care orientation program

 

PREFERRED

QUALIFICATIONS

:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Prior experience in an ambulatory care setting
• Reproductive Endocrinology Nursing certification
