Description: Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Assistant Accounting Office Manager to support the Office Manager with high level daily financial operations of our high-volume dealership. The ideal candidate has automotive accounting experience in all or most of each position within the automotive accounting office. This position will have daily responsibilities, along with assisting the Office Manager with month end closing. This person will act as a liaison between the accounting office, sales department, and finance managers

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory compliance — Ensure adherence to financial regulations and dealership policies
• Accounts management — Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely posting, reconciliation, and collections
• Cross-department collaboration — Work with department leaders to align financial strategies with dealership goals
• Team support — Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to accounting staff
• Record accuracy — Maintain precise financial records and uphold data integrity across all systems

Requirements:

Requirements:

• 3–5 years' experience in an automotive dealership accounting office, including CDK proficiency
• Background in automotive accounting required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical , problem-solving , and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
