With 32.5 hours per week, youll collaborate with educators and other specialists to tailor therapeutic experiences that empower students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Music Therapy or a closely related field
• Active Board Certification (MT-BC) from the Certification Board for Music Therapists
• Licensure or credentialing that meets Massachusetts music therapy requirements
• Experience with pediatric, special education, or school-based populations is appreciated

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized and group music therapy sessions for a diverse K12 caseload
• Conduct student assessments and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to develop effective, goal-based interventions
• Document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school guidelines
• Foster inclusive, creative environments where students of all abilities feel supported and valued
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
• Remain current on best practices within music therapy, adapting techniques to meet each students needs
