IT Project Manager

This individual will own the day-to-day execution of multiple IT infrastructure and office buildout initiatives, including a large-scale renovation of a 21-floor NYC office and a relocation project for a Los Angeles office. They will oversee the full lifecycle of IT enablement, ensuring all infrastructure, networking, and hardware components are delivered on time and aligned with business needs.
On a daily basis, the PM will coordinate with networking, engineering, and design teams to support projects such as building out a new lobby experience (including a video wall, café, and shared spaces), modernizing office amenities like gyms and flexible meeting areas, and enabling connectivity across renovated floors. They will manage vendor relationships for cabling, WiFi installation, and other infrastructure components, while also overseeing a $4.2M IT budget.
The role requires building project plans, maintaining status reports, and driving timelines using tools like OnePlan, Teams, and Excel. The PM will be responsible for bringing structure to the environment, defining processes, and ensuring teams are aligned on execution. They will also be expected to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and make critical decisions to keep projects on track within a tight one-year delivery timeline.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager (ITPM), specifically supporting office moves, office buildouts, or infrastructure implementations
- Strong background in infrastructure and networking
- Experience managing hardware deployments and IT buildouts
- Proven ability to manage budgets and large-scale technology spend (multi-million dollar projects)
- Experience working with external vendors (cabling, WiFi, network providers, etc.)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to push back, make decisions, and drive alignment
- Experience building and managing project plans, status reporting, and documentation
- Ability to operate as a technical PM with a hands-on understanding of IT environments
- Strong organizational skills; able to bring structure, process, and governance to projects


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting construction or building renovation projects
- Experience working on multi-floor or enterprise office transformations
- Familiarity with OnePlan or similar project reporting tools
- Experience coordinating simultaneous projects across multiple locations
- Exposure to office relocations or expansions (e.g., multi-site or cross-country moves)
