ARF – Live‐In DSP (Female Only) – Night Presence Position

Location: Moorpark, CA – small ranchette horse area, safe, quiet, new home on this property.

Schedule: 6PM–9AM (sleeping hours included, residents sleep regiment is usually 8pm-7:30am, they go to their day program by 9am. You would make sure they get off to their program. So awake time is a few hrs daily weekly. Rest of day is your time.

Setting: Licensed Level 3 Adult Residential Facility.

Residents: 3-young adult females 28-32yrs, high functioning, self-sufficient, mild reminders and companionship, easy-going, no behaviors, sweet, helpful.

Housing: Furnished private bedroom, laundry on-site, private parking, Netflix & WiFi included, secured property far away from street, shared bathroom w/1 person.

Compensation:

• Free housing package valued at $1,200/month
• Plus $1,200 month STIPEND for sleeping majority of the time.
• Optional daytime hourly shifts available if DSP desires additional hours from 2pm-6pm hourly rate if you wish to be a DSP during awake hours.  

About the Role

This position is ideal for a mature ( direct support professional) DSP, retiree person that enjoys a quiet, home-centered lifestyle and wants a stable, long-term night presence role and needs a safe, clean place to live. You may sleep during the night presence; the requirement is simply to be in the home as the overnight required presence. This position is for a person that needs a new home and dedicated to the night presence.

Support tasks may include :

• Medication assistance
• Light snack preparation, if needed
• Gentle household reminders (laundry day, tidy up)
• Maintaining a calm, structured environment
• Supportive companionship

STRICT Minimum Requirements (Please Read Before Applying)

Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

• 1 Female applicant only (all female home)
• Minimum 1 full year of DSP experience in the same employment - Updated Resume required.
• • No job-hoppers with resumes showing repeated 1–3-month jobs.
• DSP I Certificate required, or willing to obtain for this position right away.
• CPR/First Aid certificate
• TB clearance & Livescan/background clearance
• Proven employment stability and maturity

This particular home serves three young adult female residents who are largely self‐sufficient and benefit from mild reminders, companionship, and a calm daily routine.
All three homes operate with a fully engaged DSP team that works together as one unified group. Our staff communicates closely, supports one another, and maintains consistent expectations across the property to ensure stability, safety, and continuity of care for all residents.
