Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real difference this summer by providing expert care and support as a Physical Therapist during the Extended School Year (ESY) program! Work with K-12 students in a supportive school setting from July 1st to July 30th, Monday through Thursday, from 7:45am to 1:00pm, in the Stratford, CT area. Enjoy the rewards of helping students maximize their independence and participate in daily school activities—all while earning competitive compensation with pay starting at $50 per hour.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for Connecticut (or eligible to obtain)
• Experience working in schools, especially with K-12 populations
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt activities to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students ages K-12, primarily during ESY programming
• Collaborate with educators and other related service providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Implement and track progress toward IEP goals
• Complete required documentation and maintain detailed records in accordance with state/school guidelines
• Adjust therapy interventions based on student progress and feedback
• Support safe student participation across summer school environments
