Senior Manager, Biostatistics

PTC Therapeutics seeks a Senior Manager in Biostatistics to provide technical and operational support for clinical development programs and trials. The role involves designing studies, developing statistical analyses, managing vendors, and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timeliness and quality of statistical deliverables for clinical trials, analyses, publications, and presentations
• Develop solutions to statistical and data analysis issues; communicate cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams
• Participate in protocol development including study design, endpoint selection, and power/sample size assessment
• Author and manage implementation of statistical analysis plans and review statistical sections of study reports
• Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and management

Requirements

• PhD in Statistics or related discipline with 6+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience, or Master's in Statistics with 8+ years experience
• Hands-on experience supporting clinical studies and regulatory interactions
• Working knowledge of statistical theory applied in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R programming languages
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and guidance documents (preferred)

Compensation: $147,600–$180,000 base
