About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Real Estate to lead its expanding real estate enterprise. This executive will be responsible for the organization's real estate strategy, development pipeline, and operations, playing a critical role in shaping long-term strategy and leading a mission-driven team. The role involves providing executive leadership for all phases of real estate development, from opportunity identification to long-term portfolio planning, and requires a deep understanding of affordable housing finance and development. The successful candidate will be a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, with a focus on guiding organizational growth, evaluating development opportunities, and strengthening long-term financial sustainability. Key responsibilities for the Senior Vice President of Real Estate include strategic leadership, development leadership, financial and portfolio management, and community leadership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in affordable housing or a related field, with a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary development teams and complex real estate organizations. They should be adept at structuring sophisticated financing transactions and have a strong understanding of development economics and community development finance. The role also requires exceptional communication skills, a commitment to authentic community engagement, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in a related field.
