Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or a related field.
• Experience in a professional-level business environment.
• Experience with OSHA, TSCA, RCRA, and export regulations is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while effectively communicating status updates to senior staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; SAP experience preferred.
• Background in Industrial Chemical Regulatory Affairs preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure customers and employees are fully informed about the health and safety characteristics of products and raw materials, and that all products are compliant with applicable federal, state, county, regional, and local regulations.
• Prepare and provide Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and label warning statements in compliance with all applicable regulations in a timely manner.
• Provide timely assessments of developmental materials, including chemical materials and formulations, to ensure health, safety, transportation, and disposal considerations are fully understood relative to business impact and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory and toxicological information.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of company products, chemistries, and processes.
