Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Designer Responsibilities will include supporting the process and equipment development for the detector assemblies. Tasks will include, but not limited to: CAD design, review, and fabrication of mechanical tooling for manual and robotic applications, and supporting the diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues. Work closely with an integrated engineering and operations team, using Six Sigma methodology to tackle the technical challenge BOM structuring and requirements assembly. Ability to conduct technical design reviews, update designs, drive team consensus, and solicit bids on mechanical designs. Storage of models and drawings in PDM system. Qualifications 5+ years experience using 3D modeling software, preferably Creo/ProE. Creation of 2D views and drawings.
