Fire Safety Service Field Engineer (Technician)
C&C Group is headquartered in Lenexa, KS, with offices in St. Louis, MO, Jefferson City, MO, Springfield, MO, and Wichita, KS. Our current opening is for a Fire Safety Service Field Engineer (Technician). The Fire Safety Service Field Engineer is responsible for programming and troubleshooting Fire Alarm systems. Applicant must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: Fire Systems, Common Electrical Instruments and their usage, Local and Wide Area Networking, Life Safety and Security Codes/Standards. Additional responsibilities include:
- Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location.
- Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Ability to work with hand tools for mounting, assembling, testing, and programming systems.
- Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Provides technical support to customers.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license
- Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation, including criminal and motor vehicle check.
