About the job MRI Technologist
Were looking for an experienced MRI Technologist to join a collaborative healthcare team in Boston, MA for a 3-month contract role . If you have a passion for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring exceptional patient care, this could be a great fit.
- Performing accurate and high-quality MRI scans in a clinical setting.
- Reviewing patient histories and screening for safety concerns (e.g. pacemakers, metal implants).
- Explaining procedures and helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed.
- Administering contrast agents when needed and following all safety protocols.
- Working closely with physicians and radiologists to ensure precise imaging.
- Monitoring and maintaining MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assisting with onboarding and mentoring of junior MRI staff.
- Keeping detailed documentation of findings and reporting any issues or abnormalities.
- ARRT certification (MRI or Radiologic Technology)
- BLS certification (required)
- Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinic setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
- Clear communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach
- Attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- ARMRIT certification
- Advanced or specialized MRI training
- Experience in high-volume or emergency settings
