In this high-precision role, you will set up cutting programs, load heavy sheet metal, verify cut accuracy, and perform routine equipment maintenance in a supportive, family-first environment. • Configure, set up, and operate CNC laser cutting machinery and loaded fabrication programs cleanly.
• Safely load, position, and align raw sheet metal and plate stock onto the laser cutting bed.
• Perform meticulous initial cut verifications, verifying part dimensions and edge quality against specs.
• Troubleshoot program errors, beam alignment, or material variance and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform continuous preventative maintenance and routine cleaning to keep laser optics, bed, and equipment in top operating condition.
• Maintain high situational awareness, respect close machine boundaries, and strictly follow facility safety protocols.

• Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 / hour (Scaling based strictly on Depth of Experience / DOE).
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Consistent day shift with occasional overtime!).
• Location: Cowlitz County, WA facility.
• Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term career stability.

• Prior experience operating CNC lasers, industrial cutting tools, or heavy metal fabrication machinery preferred.
• Physical capability to handle active shop labor—standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and lifting 50–75 lbs consistently.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or program issues quickly in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
• Must be able to pass a standard pre-employment drug screen.
• Standard background check required (some restrictions may apply).
• Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation habits.
