Job Description A registered respiratory therapist (RRT) is needed to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages at our facility. The RRT will work with a variety of respiratory therapy equipment and collaborate with medical staff to deliver quality treatment and support. This role emphasizes critical care, neonatal care, and general respiratory therapy skills. Location Vernal, Utah Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00 Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage equipment such as vents, BiPAPs, and Vapotherm. Monitor patient responses and provide emergency interventions as needed. Document patient care activities using the Medhost electronic health record (EHR). Assist with the treatment of common respiratory conditions, including asthma and COPD. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Valid National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT certification. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. 1-2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role, preferred.
