The Sr. Associate II, Surgical Field Sales (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets by selling surgical ophthalmic products in the assigned territory. You will build strong professional relationships with customers, address their needs promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction through product demonstrations and support. Specifics include: • Achieve sales targets for specific accounts or territories by promoting and selling Alcon products through various sales activities • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and high-volume users while discovering and developing new business opportunities • Implement a sales plan and strategy, visiting customers frequently to provide necessary support • Conduct events and meetings to update customers on products, services, and prices, and create and maintain a customer database • Conduct competitive market analysis to maintain Alcon's product market share and react to competition by assessing the market • Provide timely reports and ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities and customer interactions according to company needs## **Essential Job Functions**Responsibilities:* Establish leadership role as local team lead for all activities.* Develops new business with customers in order to achieve sales target* Maintains and optimizes existing relationships and manages business with existing key customers* Promotes and drives utilization of appropriate products to all existing and potential customers* Provides feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management* Organizes and coordinates local meetings on territory, ensuring adequate catering facilities, company literature, samples and relevant audio-visual aids are available where necessary* Maintains and uphold an excellent company image, by way of personal presentation in both attitude, dress and condition of company car at all times* Achieves agreed sales targets* Ensures adequate administrative duties are carried out to guarantee efficient operation of territory* Constantly upgrades standard of knowledge and understanding of the specialties in which the company operates* Maintains all relevant data in company systems* Works as efficiently and economically as possible, as a professional salesperson* Identifies equipment opportunities and supports market developmentKnowledge and Skills:* Hight level of confidence in teaching/instructing as it relates to OR staff development* Effectively and efficiently conveys clear, complete and focused information* Interacts with people at all levels of authority; tailors' messages to audiences and listen to the views of others* Effectively presents topics/information to individual and group audiences* Builds rapport* Demonstrates sensitivity and awareness to other people and cultures* Prioritizes tasks efficiently and productively* Takes a logical and analytical approach to solving problems* Utilizes existing commercial/financial models to grow revenue across various product lines.* Generates workable solutions* Resolves issues/challenging situations* Should be able to work independently; proactive in taking initiative* Possesses excellent trust building relationships with customers and colleagues* Builds positive working relationships to achieve positive goals and business objectives* Demonstrates sound business decision making, based on fairness and consistency* Fluency in English (verbal and written).
