• Seeking a dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our team as the sole Ophthalmologist at our facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients in a rural community, and will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders and diseases of the eyes.
• Kane is nestled in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest with proximity to Twin Lakes and the Allegheny Reservoir. • As the sole Ophthalmologis you will have the autonomy to build and shape the service line, supported by a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat eye diseases, injuries, and disorders.
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other treatments to manage eye conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures, including cataract removal and glaucoma treatments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an Ophthalmology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Valid state medical license.
• Experience in performing ophthalmic surgeries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
