About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced and driven Billing Supervisor to lead our billing operations and take the department to the next level. This individual will oversee the full billing and accounts receivable cycle, supervise and develop a team of billing professionals, and serve as a key partner to firm leadership in managing revenue and collections. You'll bring both operational expertise and a process-improvement mindset to a role with real visibility and impact.

Salary Range:

$65K-$90K Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and develop billing staff, providing training, delegation, and performance feedback
• Oversee the complete billing cycle, including WIP management, invoice preparation, review, distribution, and follow-up
• Manage and communicate the monthly WIP schedule to all staff with billing responsibilities, tracking submissions and enforcing deadlines
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability as the firm continues to grow
• Prepare billing and revenue reports for management and support month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualifications :

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of billing experience, preferably within a public accounting, legal, or professional services firm
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of billing procedures, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition
• Experience with accounting and practice management software
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
