Position

Fluoroscopy and Catheterization Laboratory Certified Radiologic Technologist

Shift Details

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:00)

On-call required: Yes, on weekdays and weekends
Weekend work is required
12-hour shifts may be necessary due to staff shortages

Job Description

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist with substantial experience in the Cath Lab environment. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in operating fluoroscopy equipment and will be capable of scrubbing cases. This role does not encompass broader imaging responsibilities but focuses specifically on fluoroscopy operations within the Cath Lab setting.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT OBMI licensure

Essential Skills

Accurate monitoring and operation of angioplasty and stenting procedures
Proficiency in cardiac catheterizations and diagnostic catheterizations
Ability to perform various interventional procedures, including but not limited to:

Cardiac stent placement
Central Venous Access/Port Placement
Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
Neuro and vascular procedures including stroke thrombectomy

Work Environment

This position is situated in a short-term acute care hospital with a total of 536 staff beds. The daily patient census averages 25, and the Cath Lab includes seven rooms.

Additional Information

Orientation preparation will require 40 hours of training
Must comply with Oregon state licensure requirements; candidates with an active Radiology Technologist license from another state who are applying for an Oregon License will be considered
Special equipment experience is preferred

Travelers may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as necessary, and refusal to float may impact the assignment.
