Accounting Assistant

Julian & Grube is seeking a highly motivated accounting assistant to join our administrative team. This person is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations.

Accounting Support:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records for governmental clients.
• Prepare and post journal entries to client trial balances
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and audit engagements.
• Verify mathematical accuracy of accounting records and reports.

Skills:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once.
• Ability to problem solve and work independently
• Experience using Word and Excel.
• Capability to communicate well with management and others.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting pay: $20+ per hour/ based on experience.
