Make a difference every day by supporting elementary students in their learning journey as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to work in a specialized instructional classroom with a small group of students, grades 3rd-4th, fostering academic and personal growth.

This role is ideal for Special Education Teachers who are passionate about individualized instruction and have experience working in school environments. Here’s what you’ll need and what you can expect in this position:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active Illinois state licensure and certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior school-based experience, particularly in special education settings
• Comfortable supporting a caseload of up to 5 students in grades 3rd and 4th
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and tailored support in a special education classroom setting
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with parents and school teams
• Adapt curriculum materials based on student needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Regularly monitor and report on student progress
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities

Position Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• School-based schedule: 8:40AM to 3:25PM, Monday through Friday
• One opening available
• Located near Naperville, IL (Homer Glen)
• Contract dates: August 26, 2026 – June 3, 2027
• 30-minute interview process
