Strategic Analyst, Integrations & M&A

We value integrity, excellence, and nimbleness. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Strategic Analyst to join our growing team. Job Description: You will provide analytical and project management horsepower across the firm’s integration and M&A functions, reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives. Your primary focus is integrating newly acquired firms onto the Composition platform. As capacity permits, you will move upstream to deal evaluation and due diligence, and then to other strategic priorities such as AI implementation and advisory growth analytics. Key Responsibilities: Integrations Lead integration workstreams for acquired firms, owning plans and milestones Assess acquired firms’ systems and processes and translate findings into requirements Coordinate across investment, technology, operations, accounting, and compliance Protect data integrity through the migration of client information and financial records Surface risks early, report status to leadership, and improve the playbook after each close M&A and Inorganic Growth Support deal evaluation, including banker-provided materials and target financial statements Build and maintain models and projections tied to individual acquisition opportunities Draft deal overview summaries and diligence questions for target management Own the M&A calendar and opportunity tracking in the CRM (Salesforce) Strategic Initiatives (as capacity allows) Support the firm’s AI implementation agenda: use cases, tool evaluation, and pilots Support advisory growth strategy and analytics, including Board and Leadership KPI reporting Flexes with the work – moves between integration execution, deal analysis, and strategic projects as priorities shift Thinks in systems – breaks messy situations into plans, dependencies, and owners Earns trust quickly – works credibly with executives and acquired-firm principals, and challenges constructively Drives to done – tracks progress, raises risks early, and closes loops without being chased Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 3–5 years in wealth management, financial services, consulting, or banking Track record running multiple projects at once under competing deadlines Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Salesforce experience preferred Working familiarity with AI tools a plus; Power BI or similar a plus Composition Wealth does not provide immigration-related sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.) for this role.
