As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable, organized, and versatile Operations & Field Support Technician who can help wherever needed across our day-to-day operations.

Position Summary

This is an all-around, hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things organized and getting things done.

One day you may be organizing the warehouse and managing inventory. The next day you may be delivering materials to a job site, completing a punch list, helping another employee, listing surplus materials or equipment for sale, or handling a small handyman repair.

This position is ideal for someone who is naturally handy, organized, mechanically inclined, dependable, and able to see what needs to be done without constantly being told.

There will not necessarily be a "typical day." The goal of this position is simple: help keep High Bridge Development organized, efficient, and moving forward.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse, Inventory & Equipment

• Keep the company warehouse clean, organized, and functional
• Organize tools, equipment, materials, and supplies
• Maintain inventory of commonly used materials and supplies
• Track tools and equipment and identify missing, damaged, or needed items
• Restock commonly used supplies before they run out
• Receive deliveries and properly store materials
• Prepare tools and materials needed for upcoming projects
• Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment
• Identify unused or surplus materials and equipment that can be sold or disposed of

Surplus Material & Equipment Sales

• Photograph surplus materials, tools, fixtures, equipment, and other items
• Create and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace and similar platforms
• Respond to potential buyers
• Coordinate pickup of sold items
• Keep listings organized and remove sold items
• Help turn unused company materials and equipment into recoverable value rather than allowing them to accumulate

Field & Job Site Support

• Complete handyman, warranty, and punch list tasks independently
• Assist project managers, carpenters, and other employees as needed
• Perform light carpentry, trim work, drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, demolition, installation, and miscellaneous repairs
• Deliver tools and materials to active projects
• Help stage materials and prepare job sites
• Assist with site protection and cleanup
• Help troubleshoot minor problems in the field
• Handle small tasks that allow project managers and skilled tradespeople to remain focused on higher-value work

Material & Logistics Support

• Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers and vendors
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and building materials
• Handle material returns and exchanges
• Assist with deliveries and job site logistics
• Move tools and equipment between projects
• Help prepare trailers and vehicles for upcoming work
• Communicate material shortages or job site needs to the appropriate team member

General Company Support

• Help other employees when additional manpower is needed
• Handle miscellaneous projects around the office, warehouse, and job sites
• Assemble, repair, install, or troubleshoot items as needed
• Take ownership of small projects from start to finish
• Look for opportunities to improve organization and efficiency
• Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous handyman, construction, maintenance, warehouse, or similar hands-on experience
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic problems
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, communication, Marketplace listings, and basic company software
• Dependable, punctual, and productive
• Professional appearance and attitude around clients
• Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks rather than expecting to do the same thing every day

Bonus Qualifications

• Residential remodeling or construction experience
• Warehouse or inventory management experience
• Facebook Marketplace or online selling experience
• Punch list or warranty work experience
• Trailer towing experience
• Trim carpentry experience
• Drywall and paint repair experience
• Basic mechanical or equipment maintenance experience
• Experience working in high-end or occupied homes

Schedule

Full-time position with work primarily Monday through Friday.

This position requires travel between our warehouse, active job sites, vendors, suppliers, and customer homes throughout the Louisville area.
