Naval Science Instructor Position: Naval Science Instructor (NSI) at Hamilton High School, Main Campus, Hamilton, Ohio. Job Details Start Date: August 2026 Location: Hamilton High School, Main Campus, Hamilton, Ohio Salary: Salary contingent upon notification from U.S. Navy. Type: Full‑time, 12‑month contract. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and deliver instruction in Military Science for grades 7‑12. Coordinate and lead NJROTC program activities, including academics, drill, marksmanship, orienteering, and physical fitness. Provide coaching and support for cadet teams and assist with classes, camps, and summer leadership training. Participate in community service, field trips, fundraising, and other district events throughout the year. Accept a shared share of collateral coaching duties for the NJROTC program. Qualifications Valid Ohio teaching license in Military Science for high school students (Grades 7‑12). Certified by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard (E‑6 through E‑9). Retired or active duty Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard service required. Strong leadership and instructional experience with students.
