Catalent
Summer 2027 internship in research and development at a biologics manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The intern will support molecular cloning, cell culture, and recombinant protein expression activities while assisting with experimental design, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support molecular cloning, cell culture, and recombinant protein expression experiments
- Prepare buffers, media, reagents, and maintain accurate batch records and documentation
- Analyze experimental data and troubleshoot technical challenges using scientific literature
- Collaborate with Process Development and cross-functional teams on cell line development
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in life sciences field
- Major in biology, cell biology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or bioengineering
- Legal work authorization in the United States
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during summer
- Capacity to perform lab work including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting
