BC/BE Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds Physician Opportunity

Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds physician to join our well-established primary care practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This busy 100% outpatient clinic practice is located at the flagship site. Enjoy a well-supported department with its own Pharmacist, Behavioral Health Integrated Care Nurse, Psychologist, and Diabetic Educator. Nurse line is 1st call and call is 1:20 (phone call only). Excellent work-life balance (support for job sharing) and 4-day work week flexibility. Opportunity to provide medical coverage at Norwood Health Center (Local Psychiatric Facility). Medical Director opportunity available if interested.

Option A: Full Time Clinical Role

Option B: Full Time Clinical (80%) and Community Project Engagement (20%) Protected Time Dedicated to a Community Health Project Through a grant from the Orion Initiative, a grant program within the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, [provider] is able to offer 20% protected time for three years for a physician to lead a community health project. That means 20% of the physician's time in this full-time position will be dedicated to a community health project, with the remaining 80% focused on clinical care. This is a unique opportunity for physicians who want to make an impact beyond the clinic walls while addressing a health need in the community. A community health project is a project that: Serves the community where the rural hospital or clinic is located or a community within its service area Seeks to improve health or address a specific health condition or broader determinant of health, such as healthy lifestyles, disease prevention and control or environmental factors that negatively impact health Does not involve political campaign activity, lobbying or partisan advocacy
