The Dixon Group is looking for a Business Development Manager - Data Center Liquid Cooling to join our team! In this role as a Business Development Manager you will drive growth, strengthen client partnerships, and expand market share within the Data Center Liquid Cooling (DCLC) sector. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional tasked with working independently to identify, cultivate, and secure high-value opportunities that solidify Dixon's leadership within the DCLC ecosystem. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:Build and reinforce Dixon's position and reputation as a leader in the data center liquid cooling marketDevelop and execute plans to increase sales of Dixon products in the data center liquid cooling marketBuild and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, original equipment manufacturers, integrators, hyperscalers, and end usersWork internally with Dixon colleagues, including members of the sales team, order fulfillment team, marketing team, etc., to identify opportunities and fulfill customer needsVisit and collaborate in the field with other Dixon sales representativesDevelop Dixon's customer base in the data center liquid cooling market by conducting market research, reaching out to potential customers, and forming relationships with key individualsProvide expert-level technical consultation to complex stakeholder groups (e.g., engineers, chief technology officers, procurement professionals, etc.) to integrate Dixon products into critical cooling architecturesAssess and navigate multi-layered decision-making structures within hyperscale and original equipment manufacturer organizations, exercising independent judgment to determine when and how to engage organizational leaders to develop relationships and earn businessAttend industry trade shows to expand Dixon's professional network and identify new opportunitiesMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developmentsDevelop deep technical knowledge of the data center liquid cooling market and systems and utilize personal expertise to train Dixon colleagues and assist with customer needsMaintain accurate activity and customer records using customer relationship management and other toolsTravel nationally to meet with customers and suppliersWhat We're Looking For:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsProven track record of managing technical sales processes, including ability to navigate multiple layers of an organizationProven experience in industrial sales, manufacturing sales, fluid transfer products, hose and coupling products, or a related fieldStrong executive presence with the ability to engage confidently at all organizational levelsAbility to travel frequently throughout the United States as neededSelf-motivation with strong organizational and time-management abilitiesStrong financial, data, and writing skillsProficiency with business software and information systemsExperience working in the Data Center Liquid Cooling marketMechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical products and applicationsKnowledge of hose, fittings, couplings, valves, fluid handling, or related industrial productsExisting relationships with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, server manufacturers, or cooling solution providersSalesforce or similar customer relationship management experienceWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your familyCompetitive salaryBonus programs401K retirement planTraining opportunitiesTuition reimbursementPaid vacation, PTO, and holidaysGym reimbursements, and more!Who We Are: The Dixon Group is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with a history of over 100 years of operation in the U.S.A.
