ResponsibilitiesAs a Safety Specialist, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsComplete accident reports and conduct accident investigationsDaily safety audits and inspectionsOversee all subcontractors and contractorsOversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and ExcavationQualificationsMinimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required, pharma highly preferredDegree in a safety related field preferred OSHA 510 and or 500 a plusCHST or CSP preferred Advance knowledge of construction safety standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills required Proficient Microsoft Office skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, AccountabilityOverviewHazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
