Warehouse clerk

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join a team in Carlsbad, CA. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping products while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well independently, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions as assigned by warehouse supervisors and managers, including:

• Receiving and returns

• Stocking and inventory control

• Order selection and fulfillment

• Pallet consolidation

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Shipping and receiving activities

• Receive finished products from production and properly store inventory.

• Accurately pick orders using pick tickets.

• Build, wrap, and stage pallets in designated shipping lanes.

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently after proper training and certification.

• Utilize warehouse equipment such as:

• Electric pallet jacks

• Forklifts

• Box cutters

• Other material handling equipment

• Perform accurate inventory transactions and data entry within inventory management systems.

• Work with storage bays, racking systems, inventory control processes, and shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.

• Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations.

• Assist with additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks is a plus.

• Familiarity with inventory control systems and warehouse management processes.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office products, including:

• Excel

• Word

• Outlook

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday.

• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
