Shipping & Receiving Clerk

OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Carlsbad, CA, 92010. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our shipping and receiving operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for logistics and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.Maintain accurate inventory records and update the inventory management system as needed.Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics is a plus.Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
